Concentration

I decided to do my concentration on the idea of taking children's portraits from the 1920's and 30's and replacing their heads with animal heads. I have always been creeped out by those 1920's and 30's portraits of children and felt morphing them with animals would bring it to a whole new level.

I think his paintings are gorgeous in a wierd way. I don't know why i'm drawn to them because im not a fan of drawing cartoons, but i'm drawn to his work.

Not sure what to put on top of this...

Im not sure if i should leave the background that "sketchy" or if i should make it more solid. I like the drips, yet they might be a little dominating.

Any ideas?
